A PSALM
FOR BUSY PEOPLE
"The
Lord is my pacesetter, I shall not rush.
He makes
me stop and rest for quiet intervals.
He provides
me with images of stillness, which restore my serenity.
He leads
me in ways of efficiency, through calmness of mind
and his
guidance is my peace.
Even though
I have a great many things to accomplish each day,
I will not
fret, for His presence is here.
His timeliness,
His all-importance will keep me in balance.
He prepares
refreshment and renewal for me in the midst of my activity.
By anointing
my mind with His oils of tranquility, my cup of joyous energy
overflows.
Surely,
harmony and effectiveness shall be the fruits of my hours.
For I shall
walk in the pace of my Lord forever".
AMEN
REMEMBER ,,, fifty
years from now it will not matter what kind of car you drove,
what kind of house you lived in, how much you had in your bank
account, or what your clothes looked like. But the world may
be a little better because you were important in the life of
another human being.
FRIENDSHIP
We all have friends,
but very few close friends, someone we call a lasting friend.
What starts a lasting friendship? My answer is that it's God
made.
All of us have at
least one lasting friend. We don't know why. I call this a miracle
from God. True friendship dwells within our heart, gives us a
special life and brings much happiness. (by Bill Not a)
